Together with its subsidiary simpliTV, ORS has developed the simpliONE Box. The hybrid box combines the best of the two worlds of broadcasting and streaming and guarantees an innovative TV experience of a special kind.
The simpliONE Box thus turns every TV set into a smart TV and guarantees maximum flexibility in TV enjoyment. TV users can not only receive classic television via antenna (DVB-T2) or satellite (DVB-S), but also use all the functions from the streaming world. For example, the programmes of the last 7 days can be called up at the touch of a button, or the live TV programme can be paused at any time using the start/stop function.
In addition, the box provides access to numerous apps in the Google Play Store, such as ORF TVthek, YouTube, Amazone Prime and many more.

- Linear TV reception (e.g. via antenna or satellite) is supplemented by the flexibility of live and time-shifted content via streaming.
- TV consumers thus have the option of watching their favourite programme as usual via a linear TV reception channel and combining it flexibly with practical additional streaming services.
The streaming functions and on-demand features ensure flexible TV enjoyment. Whether 7-day replay, start/stop, restart or recording with the personal video recorder - the innovative TV experience can be used not only via app on the Smart TV, but also on all mobile devices such as smartphone or tablet.
- Additional content (e.g. ORF TVthek, simpliTV app, etc.) can be accessed and used directly at the touch of a button via remote controls of hybrid TV sets and set-top boxes.
